Personal Statement
I am a reliable and well organised marine surveyor with a wealth of experience and knowledge in the field; I have excellent time management skills and can accept any challenge with enthusiasm and common sense. I am well versed dealing with the public, my strengths include building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and colleagues and utilising strong skills in all levels of communication to ensure that all work is completed with the minimum of fuss and within the necessary timescale. I provide a high-quality service including in-depth reports and can work well as part of a team or on my own. These positive attributes, together with confidence, self-motivation, an excellent work ethic and enthusiasm are coupled with my commitment to ongoing personal and professional developments.

In this role I carry out inspections/ surveys across the UK on many types of vessels, however I specialise in narrow boats and barges, this is then complete with an immensely detailed report. Engineer, Crane Operator / Co-Director
In this role I covered many aspects of the industry including operating a crane to lift vessels in and out of the water, welding services, engine and boat maintenance, solar installation, and general boat repairs along with the usual business responsibilities including dealing with customers and staff and the day to day running of the company.

Initially I started out as a police constable working my way up through the ranks to then becoming an Acting Sergeant, I covered many aspects in the police force from firearms, road policing (traffic) to becoming a line manager for all PCSO’s/ specialist training officer.
